About me
I am now an Assistant Professor (Principal Investigator) in Computer Science at Great Bay University, Guangdong, China. I received my Ph.D in Computer Science and Engineering at the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) in 2022, supervised by Prof. Kwong-Sak Leung and Prof. Man-Hon Wong.
My research interests focus on AI for Bioinformatics and Computational Biology, including the integration of spatial multimodal omics data and AI virtual cell. We proposed spatial multi-omic aggregation using graph neural networks and metric learning (SMART), multimodal mixture framework of disentangled experts for deciphering spatial multi-omics (SpaMode), and diagonal integration learning model for spatial multi-omics embedding (DIME). I am passionate about continuing to work on interesting and useful projects that can contribute to healthcare.
I am currently looking for PhD Students, Research Assistants, Postdoctoral Fellows, and Visiting Students. If you are interested, please feel free to send me an email!
